LCP is a highly crystalline high performance engineering resin, and has been called a “Super Polymer.” LCP resins have outstanding strength at extreme temperatures, excellent mechanical property retention, excellent dielectric strength and excellent dimensional stability. Its flow properties allow processing for even the tough, long and narrow molds, and are excellent for high precision, thin walled parts. Due to its inherent flame retardant and high heat resistance, as well as mechanical and physical properties, LCP has been used as a lower cost alternative to ceramics and metals.
